RAPPER Stunner has leapt to the defence of his ex flame Pokello Nare saying there was nothing going on between her and popular businessman and Harare socialite, Tazvi “Chief J” Mhaka and people should keep out of her business.
This is after Pokello was bashed on social media over the past few days for attending Chief J’s yacht party in Cape Town for his birthday celebrations.
Chief J who was in Bulawayo recently with Wicknell Chivayo is seen at numerous functions with Pokello and model Jacqueline Ngarande whom he refers to as his sisters, something some think is a mere cover up. And now, having Pokello attend his 39th birthday party in a foreign land without her husband Elikem has left some wondering if Pokello is cheating.
Stunner said he was following the whole controversy on social media but Pokello was too clever to be caught cheating.
“Pokello is not stupid. If she was up to something with any of those men trust me none of us in Zimbabwe except the two of them would know. She won’t show off what she’s doing to anyone especially on social media,” said Stunner.
He said he knows that there is nothing going on between Pokello and Chief J or Ginimbi. “There’s absolutely nothing going on between any of them, and I know that for a fact. It’s only Zimbabweans who want to speculate and come up with theories about what is what and what is not,” said Stunner.
RAPPER Stunner and Zimdancehall artiste, Tocky Vibes, will be in Bulawayo for a performance at Club 263 on Saturday.
This will be the duo’s first performance in the city this year. They will perform alongside up-and-coming Zimdancehall artiste, DJ Tawaz, DJs T Man, T Nash and Brooklyn as well as the club’s resident DJs.
Show organisers said all was in place for the event where $3 will be charged as entrance fee.
From Bulawayo, Tocky and Stunner will travel to Plumtree for a show at Kombani Lodge on Sunday. There they will be supported by DJs Lexx, Tynash, Mt Zion, Yugoe and King Inity.
Tytan has been flaunting his “new love” on his Instagram page, @tytantheone. The other day, Tytan posted a picture of Olinda captioned, “My Woman Crush… #QueenMukoko”. A few days later, he posted another picture of Olinda captioned, “Beautiful inside and out. Thank you @leechapel”.
A lot of Tytan’s followers responded to the post largely condemning him for being involved with a turbulent, volatile and possibly still fragile woman but his response was “she makes me happy”. One user @eddigovs commented, “Are you guys dating? This is getting exciting, but I won’t say much since I don’t know exactly what’s happening.”
Some of his followers were supportive of the relationship with one @fifie7087 saying, “Make it solid, critics will always be there. Zari and Diamond have a bigger age gap but they are a couple to die for.”
Tytan is scheduled to perform in the United Kingdom alongside Heavy K in August and Olinda already has plans to host a lavish High Tea for him in London.
But the flourishing relationship has left the lines blurred. It is not clear whether Tytan is in a relationship with Olinda or if their “relationship” is purely a publicity stunt meant to boost Tytan’s career. The afro-pop musician recently released the track, Bho off the album Tytan EP which he will soon be launching and says is dedicated to Olinda.
If Tytan plays his cards right, he will be getting a car from her but if he screws her over, she will be on social media again telling the world of how she made him.
